Estate Planning Services

Estate planning is quite simply the process of making sure your property is transferred to the people you want, when you want and the way you want it transferred. However, estate planning involves more than having the proper documents in place. Estate Planning is like a tripod: three equally important parts of the plan need to be coordinated so that the estate plan does not topple. The three pieces of the "estate planning tripod" are:

    1) Proper ownership of assets;

    2) Proper beneficiary designations of life insurance, retirement plans and IRA's; and

    3) A properly drafted will or living trust

We make the estate planning process as simple as possible for our clients. We have a questionnaire to gather information that you can complete at your convenience. We then schedule a meeting to review the questionnaire, discuss the planning process in detail, answer any questions you may have and make estate planning recommendations based on the your unique situation. Finally, we will implement the estate plan by preparing the estate planning documents, assist in re-titling assets if necessary and modifying your beneficiary designations.
